Mireia Costa-Pérez. Departamento de Botánica y Geología, Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas. Universidad de Valencia, Spain. mireiacostap@gmail.com
Mireia Costa-Pérez is a biologist from University of Valencia. She's interested in vertebrate palaeontology, especially in the evolutionary history of birds. She holds two MSc titles, one in Biodiversity and another in Applied Palaeontology. She has studied dinosaur tracks using geometric morphometrics, a technique that later applied to the study of morphofunctional evolution in birds.

Scientific Researcher (Paleontology) in the Instituto Geologico y Minero de España (IGME, Museo Geominero), Madrid, Spain. of his research is related with dinosaur paleoichnology and its implications: locomotion, identification, preservation, paleobiogeographical implications, etc. He has discovered and studied many dinosaur tracksites from the Cameros Basin (Lower Cretaceous, La Rioja province, Spain). He is part of the Research Team on the Las Hoyas locality, with publications on birds and pterosaur bone record.
