Dr. Denis Audo graduated from Muséum national d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, France. He had the great opportunity to work in China for three years : as a postdoc in Yunnan University, where he discovered the Cambrian of Chengjiang ; and as a special research assistant in NIGPAS (Nanjing, China), where he discovered freshwater fossil crustaceans. He is currently a lecturer in palaeontology and the curator of fossil echinoderms, corals and trilobites in Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, (Paris, France).

As a researcher in UMR 7207 CR2P, his research uncovers the fossil diversity, palaeobiology and the evolutionary history of aquatic arthropods from the Cambrian to present. As a hobby, he stalks animals (especially crustaceans) on land and by sea, gotta see 'em all!
