My academic career began with studying the Bachelor of Science – Geosciences at the University of Bonn, Germany. My bachelors thesis was on remains of a large bodied Ichthyosaur from Eastern Svalbard, which was published recently (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12542-023-00677-3). After a short time at the University of Cologne, Germany, i returned to Bonn for the course of study ‚Masters of Science – Paleontology‘. Since my time as a masters student, i started to look into the diversity of diplodocid sauropodomorphs as well as the diversity of dinosaurs from Germany. My masters thesis under the supervision of Dr. Emanuel Tschopp was on the remains of a juvenile diplodcoid from Northern Wyoming.
