Jinzhuang Xue is an Associate Professor in the School of Earth and Space Sciences at the Peking University, China. He received his undergraduate education from the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2002 and his PhD from the Peking University in 2007. He has worked extensively on the morphology, anatomy and systematics of Devonian vascular plants and recently, on plant-soil interactions and paleo-diversity studies based on the Paleozoic plant fossil record, and has published about 90 peer-reviewed papers on related topics. His recent projects focus on the interaction and coevolution of vascular plants and Earth’s surface environments during the Paleozoic.
