Dr. Brooke Long-Fox is a conservation paleobiologist specializing in morphological and phylogenetic methods to study lucinid bivalves from Florida and Bahamian coastal habitats. Brooke has a Ph.D. in geology and an M.S. in paleontology from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (Rapid City, SD, USA) and a B.S. in geology with a minor in environmental science from Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, TX, USA). She currently serves as a Data Curation Scientist at MorphoBank where she manages morphological data matrices and contributes to user interface and data analysis software improvements.
